Putin: Sukhoi Superjet-100 will be delivered to customers before end this year

The new Russian airliner Sukhoi Superjet-100 will be delivered to customers before the end of this year. This was confirmed on Wednesday by the Russian Prime Minister Vladimir Putin during the international forum “Engineering Technologies-2010” Zhukovsky, near Moscow.
The first and biggest customer is Russia’s flag-carrier Aeroflot which has ordered 30 Sukhoi Superjet-100 aircraft. The Superjet-100 can seat 98 passengers and fly a maximum distance of up to 4,500 kilometres.
The plane is a joint project of more than 30 companies in different countries.
