On Saturday night dozens of millions of televiewers across Europe enjoyed a fantastic show- the Eurovision-2009 song contest final in Moscow. Experts agree it was probably the most beautiful, dynamic and visually and technically impressive show in a 50-year history of Eurovision and doubt whether some other country would be able to host this song contest as superb as Russia. Eurovision in Moscow was a real dream. Ethnic Belarussian Alexander Rybak, who represented Norway, became the winner of the Eurovision-2009 contest with his song Fairy Tale.

Eurovision is reaching out into space. Yuri Aksyuta, Executive Producer of the Moscow Eurovision, told reporters that a video linkup with the International Space Station would be established during the contest’s final on May 16. The winners will probably be announced by the ISS crew live from orbit - but details are being kept secret, reports “The Voice of Russia”.
