Inflation in Murmansk Region slightly above Russian average level

The period of Jan-Jun 2010 took 8,8% rise in prices for goods and services compared to the correspondent period of 2009.
According to the data provided by Murmansk Statistics Agency, the prices for goods and services in Murmansk went up by 8.8 percent in January - June 2010 compared to January - June 2009.

In Murmansk region alcohol prices went up by 9,66 percent, services by 8,3 percent and food by 7,54%, reports barentsnova.com.
Since 1 January 2010 the inflation rate for Russia is 4.4 percent. It is expected to be between 7 and 8 percent at the end of 2010.
