RZD is expanding railway connections with Moscow international airports

On 28 August the regular train traffic between the Belorussky Station in the city center of Moscow and airport Sheremetyevo has started. Between the station and the airport 27 pairs of trains "Aeroexpress” will commute.
According to the schedule, the first train from Sheremetyevo Airport to Bellorussky station in Moscow will leave at 5:am, the last at midnight. Train services from the station to Sheremetyevo starts at 05:30 am and ends at 01:00 am. Trains run every 30 minutes, the journey takes 35 minutes. On the way to the airport trains will make a stop at the station Savyolovsky. In the opposite direction no stops are planned.
The president of Russian Railways (RZD) Vladimir Yakunin congratulated the passengers to the commissioning of the new terminal, thanked all the participants of the project and described it as an example of a partnership between private companies and government agencies.
"More than one year ago, we have connected the three major Moscow airports directly with the city center by railroad. We did not confine ourselves, however. The opening of the rail link between the Belorussky Station and Sheremetyevo International Airport is an important step in the development of the Moscow railway-junction. The Belorussky station located in the Moscow City Center is enabling the passengers to the airport is quick and easy travel”.
Following train services to the main Moscow airports are now operated:
• Moscow - Sheremetyevo
• Moscow - Domodedovo
• Moscow - Vnukovo
The cars are equipped to make the trip as comfortable as possible. In each car there are comfortable soft seats, air conditioning and several screen with short films, clips and news. In addition the passengers can find environmentally friendly toilets.
All terminals are located in the city center and near the metro stations. The journey time is between 30 and 40 minutes at a ticket price from 150 to 250 rubles. Monthly tickets are also available. The timetables of the trains are adapted to the departure times. In addition, security guards accompany the trains during the trip.
